    Kootenai Health is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants!

    We consider NEW GRADUATES!

    This is a Part Time 0.7 / (56hr a pay period) position

    Job Summary

    As a CNA you will perform various direct patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assist patients in dressing or undressing, bathing, or eating. CNA's collects non-invasive body fluid specimens or gathers vital signs but does not start or administer intravenous fluids.

    Essential Duties

    · Aids physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed.

    · Documents patient interactions as needed.

    · Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

    · Works under general supervision.

    · Typically reports to a registered nurse or manager.

    · Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Requirements & Minimum Qualifications

    Education

    · High school diploma or GED required

    Experience

    · 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified preferred.

    License/Certification

    · Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.

    · BLS Required (or within 60 days of hire)
